THE BASICS__________________________________________________________________
01. First of all, everyone deserves respect. Whether it be a guest in the chat box, a fellow stable owner, or an admin/staff member - all members will be treated equally on Fast Paced.
02. Activity is key. This site doesn't take a lot of time to stay active either. Just make sure to post your entries whenever a new race schedule goes up, and participate in auctions every now and then. Also remember to keep your stable board updated, as you may get a small fine at the end of the season if you don't.
03. Okay, let's face it. Cussing is fun. Therefore, it is allowed on Fast Paced - in moderation. Just don't go around dropping the 'eff' bomb every other word, or using if to offend other members.
04. If you have a dispute with another member, please do not fight in the chat box. That's just embarrassing. At least take it over to private messaging if you absolutely have to, or contact an admin and they can help you work it out.
05. Having a unique name is cool. Too long isn't. Please try to keep your username within an acceptable length.
JOINING_______________________________________________________________________
01. You have one week upon joining to get an application posted and completed for your stable in the Stable Creation board. If an admin requests you make a change to your application, you have two additional days to make the alteration. If you don't fix your form by that time, your post will be moved to the archives.
02. Upon completing your Stable Application, admin will create a board for your stable, where you will be able to neatly organize all your barn information however you prefer to do so.
03. When making your stable you are allowed to create five racehorses. Once you have done so, you will receive one broodmare that will be created by an admin. You may choose between the three age combinations listed below for your racers:
- OPTION ONE:
2YO: three 3YO: two
- OPTION TWO:
1YO: one 2YO: two 3YO: two
- OPTION THREE:
1YO: three 2YO: two
YOUR STABLE_____________________________________________________________
01. When making your stable, the first thing you should think about is what you plan to name it. Listed below are a few simple guidelines you must follow.
1A. First of all, your stable name can not be the same as a racing stable that is currently existing. In other words, you can't have a stable called Calumet Farms. It's just common sense. If the name you would like to use is already existent, as long as it isn't well known, you are allowed to use it.
1B. Secondly, try to refrain from having an extremely long stable name. The maximum length should be somewhere around four words, but it isn't exactly a highly enforced rule. It's okay if you go one or two words over, as long as it sounds nice!
1C. The use of unnecessary characters such as hearts, asterisks, apostrophes, etc. is prohibited. The only characters that are allowed in your Stable Name are letters, punctuation (such as comas, dashes and periods) and spaces.
02. You begin your stable with a Main Barn that has 6 stalls, a 900 square foot Farm Office, and 12 acres of land - 4 residential acres and 8 acres in pasture. You can upgrade your stable after you have entered your first horse into a race.
03. You cannot have more than one stable, and its main purpose must be for thoroughbred racing. Once you expand your farm, you may offer services such as training, boarding and stallion services, but you cannot join solely as a breeding or boarding farm. You must have horses to race or your stable will be deleted.
04. Once you have your barn board set up, you will need to hire employees. This will need to be done before you enter your first race, as you need a jockey to enter on your race card! To hire your first employees, make a trip to the Contracts Registry board. You will need to keep a record of all your employees in a thread somewhere in your Farm Office.

MONEY__________________________________________________________________________
01. Once you join and are accepted by an Admin, the next step is to set up your bank account. You can do so in The Bank board. Once you set up your bank account you will automatically receive $100,000 to go toward employee, race and any other fees.
02. You have until the next time race results are posted to receive your race winnings. There are rules provided in The Bank board that elaborate how you should go about posting your winnings and all of your other expenses as well.
03. In need of some extra money to buy that elite horse? Simply make a post in the Loans sub-board in the Bank. There are specific rules provided in the board on how to do this.
04. If ever you go to far into debt in game, it is required that you downsize your farm in some way. You can do this by selling a couple of your horses, which will be appraised by an admin, or selling some of your facilities and/or land. It is also optional to restart your farm completely. If this is necessary, simply message an admin and they'll reabsorb your horses and facilities.
THE RACES__________________________________________________________________
01. Horses can race however many times you wish for them to race back to back. However, some horses will not respond to this sort of strenuous schedule positively. Each horse will react differently. Some horses may do worse with a long break from racing, while others are better than some at racing consecutive weeks. It is your job to determine what benefits your horse best.
02. When entering a race, take a look at the Race Schedule sub-board in The Racing Office. Horses may only race in races that include their age group or gender. Some races are restricted to only a certain age or gender of horses.
03. Horses must race at their own level. You can find information on each level of racing by reading this thread. All horses that are entered in a race that is above or below their racing level will be scratched from said race.
04. In real life it is unrealistic that a horse would race multiple times each month. Although this site isn't entirely realistic, we suggest you stick to racing your horses once every in game month. This will offer your horse more recovery time in between each race, and they will likely perform better each time.
